Hope Church is a great place for families. We aim to provide the best possible ministry for stretched and busy parents. We also value children, and we do our best to ensure that Sunday mornings and evenings are full of accessible teaching and fun community for them. Details of children’s and youth activities are below.
During our morning services we cater for children and toddlers. The children are split into two groups – younger and older where each week they learn about stories in the Bible and do activities organised by their Sunday School Teacher.
Our children’s work is covered by our Child Protection Policy, and all children’s workers are fully trained and CRB checked.
The creche is a safe and fun place for the babies and young toddlers to go and play together. There are toys provided and at least two people to look after the children.
We believe it’s important at Hope to allow families to join in the evening service. The kids can leave the service during the sermon to attend ‘bookworms’. This is a fun half hour where a story is told from the Bible or another book. The kids also get chance to watch a DVD (such as Veggie Tales) towards the end of the session.
